Arlington National Cemetery   The website devoted to America's most hallowed ground and to the heroes and pathfinders who rest at peace there.

Barnstable County (Cape Cod), Massachusetts gravestones dated before 1800  The site contains information from most all the gravestones dated before 1800 ever recorded in the 15 towns that constitute Barnstable County (Cape Cod), Massachusetts. There are about 3800 names with all gravestone inscription information from 35 old burying grounds. The names are listed in chronological order by year of death for each old cemetery. The names are linked to about 1200 color photographs, 1500 accurately reproduced inscriptions and 250 interesting epitaphs. Also, there is information about many of the Colonial stone carvers including many examples of their work. Information and photos continue to be added.

Kensal Green Cemetery, London   As churchyards in London became overcrowded with bodies in the early 19th century, locations just outside of London were selected to bury the dead. Kensal Green Cemetery was one of the first. It was licensed by an Act of Parliament in 1832 and would soon turn into such a fashionable place to be buried that Augustus Frederick, Duke of Sussex, son of king George III, found his last resting place on the cemetery in 1843.
