Margery, Margary, Margaret Litton, Litten 1812 Virginia Enoch Preston 1833 in Allegany County, Maryland Maryland (?) 1833 to 1838, then Washington County, Ohio 1850, 60, 70, 80 Washington County, OHIO census state that Margery (various spellings) and her parents were born in Virginia. I do not know her parents' names or where they lived in Virginia. Her husband, Enoch Preston, was born in Allegany County, Maryland and they were married there. Per Ohio census, some of their children were born in Maryland before they moved to Ohio in 1838, where other children were born. They died in Washington County, Ohio. Their children's names were: Margaret A., Peter Harrison, Emily E., Daniel L., Mary J., Maria E., John D., and William L. Preston.
