?? Grove About 1805 Unknown John Hawk About 1825 Warren County, Tennessee and possibly Missouri This Hawk family did not go to Ohio; however, a branch might have. This Hawk family was in Warren County, Tennessee, earliest proof is the 1812 tax list. The family then moved on to Madison County, Arkansas in the 1830's, changed the name to Hock, and settled at Hock's Creek. ?? Grove is my third great-grandmother, and I would be most appreciative of any information on her. There is some information that she died in McMinnville, Tennessee, but the year is unknown. Early on, I believe, as John Hawk married two more times. John Hawk's parents were Jacob Hawk and Mary Ann "Polly" Warren. Vicki Kea wkea@earthlink.net
