Jane's mother (Loucinda, maiden name unknown also)) was married to Mr. Stracener at that time. Jane was age 15 on Conway County (Union Township) 1870 Federal Census. Yhe census taker spelled her name PUCILLA, but it was Purcel (or some variation of that name) we have been told. She married Eb Keller @ 1875 and they lived in Missouri, possibly Bollinger County. They had a daughter, Elvira Keller. Do not know what happened to Eb Keller, but Jane and 3-yr. old Elvira returned to Conway County where Jane married John Watson Sledge in 1878 and had 4 or 5 other children before she died around 1900.
