Richard Elkins 1839 Indiana West Virginia I believe Rhoda (my gr.gr.
grandmother) was last in West Virginia 1870 census. Rhoda & Richard were
in 1840 Indiana census (where they were married) and also in the 1850 census
of Illinos. But only Rhoda and 4 children (Henry, Loid, William and Darcus)
were in the Indiana 1860 census. Rhoda had no education so apparently nothing
was written down. I would appreicate any information on Rhoda (and who her

tracing my mother's side of the family, and am stuck; cannot find maiden name
