Anne Muirhead (aka Morehead) c. 1800 to 1815 Virginia (?) Benjamin Sharpe Jr. (1st married Sharpe, 2nd married a Schott) c.1830 Tennessee Children: Mary Charlotte, Emily Ann, and another daughter, all born in Nashville, TN.. Family history has always maintained that she was brought here as an orphan and raised by an" Aunt and Uncle" the latter's name being "Bob Anderson." There is absolutely no family history on the Anderson's which makes me think if Anne was raised by these people, it was probably Mrs. Anderson who was the blood kin aunt, perhaps being a Muirhead before marrying Mr. Anderson. According to verbal history, they lived, at one time, in the old Tulip Grove Mansion in Nashville, but under what circumstances they would have lived there, I have no idea. Anne is buried at the Old City Cemetery in Nashville. .  Mary C. Hall mchall@mail.state.tn.us
