Elvey Riddick Circa 1760 North Carolina Samuel Harrell 1781 North Carolina "Elvey married Maj. Samuel Harrell who fought in the Revolutionary War.
They had seven children - William, Mary, Noah, Abner, James, Joseph and Nancy.
There is some question as to whether or not she was married to another Samuel Harrell
from a different branch of Harrells. I am seeking more information about her and her
family. She apparently died about 1780 because Samuel married a second time to Sally Bond
and that union produced five more children. While there are a lot of Riddicks who lived

Nancy Jane Crews Jennings abt 1824 Kentucky Henderson Jennings 1842 "Neosho, Newton County Missouri" "Nancy and Henderson lived in Neosho from about1842 until 1870 when Henderson died. She remarried to a Moses P. Hankins in March 1871. She died in Springfield Mo 1902. No records have been found of her parentage. All we know is she was born in Kentucky.
She and Henderson may have migrated from North Carolina, as it lists Henderson as a Teacher in NC on the 1850 Newton County Census. He was born in Grayson County VA.
Any information about her parentage would be greatly appreciated.
