Alice ROBERTS 1851 England or Wales Richard Northcott & James Olds 1. before 1870 2. after 1870 "England, Wales & Michigan, USA" "Alice ROBERTS married Richard Henry NORTHCOTT. They had twins in 1870. The girl baby died,the son, Richard Henry NORTHCOTT(jr)survived.

Mr Northcott died & was buried in Wales before the family could immigrate to America.

Then, Alice ROBERTS NORTHCOTT brought
her son to Michigan anyway. She met & married James OLDS in Marquette county
Michigan.

Her son was then known as Richard Henry
Olds or R.H. OLDS. The Oldses then had 12 more children of which 8 survived.

R H OLDS was considered the head of the family when Mr Olds died. Northcott has been used in this extended family as a middle name in honor of R H Oldses paternal line.
