I'm looking for more info. on Susan Cheney. Her father was a Daniel Cheney, (of which there were several in CT). Her mother may have been Julia Cornwall.
Any info. will be greatly appreciated.

" Allan Davis davlg@mindspring.com

Rebecka (Rebecca) Johnson abt. 1770s "Middlesex County, Connecticutt" Charles Davis "Middlesex County, Connecticut" "I'm looking for info. on a Rebecka (Rebecca) Johnson, who married my g-g-g-grandfather, Charles Davis. He was born 1775/6 in Chatham, Middlesex County, Connecticut. I believe his parents were Charles Davis, (b. abt. 1754) and Anna Pelton, (b. abt. 1757).
There were at least 2 Rebecca Johnsons who might have been his wife. One was born 1/12/1776 in Chatham to Jonathan Johnson and Mary Whitmore. However, some records say she died in 1857 unmarried.
Another Rebecca was born 9/28/1777 to a Seth Johnson and a Rebecca Norton. Some records say she was married to Charles Davis, before 1823, and to Noah Shephard after 1823. Some of these records give the State as Maine, possibly because Chatham, Middlesex County, Connecticut, is now called Portland.
A third possibility, although this Rebecca was more than 20 years younger than the other two, might be Rebecca Johnson, b. abt. 1756 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut to David Johnson and Jerusha Thomas.
Any info. that will help to determine which, if any, of these Rebecca Johnsons married Charles Davis of Chatham, Connecticut will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Allan Davis" Allan Davis davlg@mindspring.com

In the 1880 census, I found Lydia living with her mother, Hester or Esther Crow (1800 - ?) and invalid brother, Ephraim Crow (1819-1890). I don't know what happened to Lydia afer that. Can anyone help me find my husband's GGrandmother?
