Our library has a collection of over 30,000 volumes including not only California but other US states. We have an excellent New England and Pennsylvania collection, Lots on online databases some for members only.  Look on our website for operating hours, directions and more.  

Computer Genealogy Society of San Diego (CA)
The CGSSD is an association of people using personal computers in the pursuit of their genealogical research. The computer, coupled with genealogy software, allows you to better manage the family history information you have gathered. The computer allows you to print out your research information in many formats and share it with others. Computers can also help with genealogy research by providing access to databases, CD-ROM data files, and the Internet.

Our NVGBS Library located at 1701 Menlo Ave. Napa, CA (off California Blvd.)has over 9,000 books, periodicals, CDs, and other genealogical materials covering all areas of the United States as well as a computer lab with access to several online genealogy services. Our hours are Tuesdays from 10:00am to 6:00pm, Wednesday & Thursday from 10:00am to 4:00pm, the 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Phone (707) 252-2252.

Whittier Area Genealogical Society  
WAGS was founded in 1981 and has served the East Los Angeles County area ever since. General meetings are held on the third Saturday afternoon of every month, preceded by classes in the mornings except for June, July and August. The Society has published a number of genealogical documents and continues to work on making the history of the area available to all.
