Maryland Genealogical Society 
The Society was founded in 1959 to collect and preserve Maryland history and genealogy. The Society hopes this web site will introduce you to them, provide you useful information and entice you to mail in your application to join the Society.

Maryland Historical Society   
The Maryland Historical Society is the state's oldest cultural institution.  The MdHS collects, preserves, and interprets objects and materials reflecting Maryland's diverse heritage. The MdHS houses the most extensive collection of objects and artifacts in the state of Maryland, and one of the largest collections of Americana in the world.

Baltimore County Genealogical Society (BCGS) 
was founded in 1977 to help educate members in tracing their family ancestry, to collect and publish material related to genealogy, and to encourage the open exchange of genealogical ideas and experiences.

The Harford County Genealogical Society 
is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to facilitate the preservation and dissemination of information on the history and genealogy of families of Harford County, Maryland, and its immediate vicinity.

New Windsor Heritage Committee
The New Windsor Heritage Committee was founded in 1986  by a group of like-minded citizens concerned with the preservation and documentation  of all aspects of the history of New Windsor, Maryland. This not for profit body of people was organized and chartered exclusively for educational and charitable purposes. These are to include, but not limited to, the promotion and encouragement of historic research; the discovery and procurement, by donation, purchase, commission or otherwise, or historical relics that may pertain to the town; the preservation and publishing of documents, such as writings, blueprints, maps, journals, or records, etc., that shed light on the history and architecture of the town of New Windsor, and its environs.
  

St. Mary's County Genealogical Society  
committed to the promotion and encouragement of interest in the science of  genealogical and historical research. This includes active participation in the preservation and maintenance of records of genealogical and historic interest in St. Mary's County, to promote their availability to the public, to maintain surname files, printed materials, and publications at local libraries for use by patrons, and to maintain liaison with and offer advice and assistance to local librarians regarding genealogy-related services.
