The South Central Pennsylvania Genealogical Society, Inc. is a non-profit organization of genealogists. As genealogists, we study our ancestry and, family history, and are interested in preserving our family heritage for future generations.  Our primary geographical area of interest and coverage is York and Adams Counties in Pennsylvania.

Our aim is to encourage and promote an interest in genealogy. We do this by collecting and preserving materials related to genealogy; by encouraging the compiling and publishing of family genealogies and histories; by publishing, as demands and finances allow, material of interest and benefit to members; and by holding meetings for the education of our members and the public.
 

The Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania         Publications
Our statewide society is dedicated to making available Pennsylvania-related genealogical information. We have a research room, offer publications (a twice-a-year magazine and quarterly newsletter) and programs, and a Web site.
